Should My Agency White Label Services to a Bigger Agency?

In this episode of Ask Swenk, the main focus of the questions this week are should you white label services of your agency to a bigger agency? Check it out below to find out my thoughts.

I do what I do now to make sure you don’t make the mistakes I’ve made back then.

The bigger agency has big name clients and you might think that white labeling will help you leverage bigger clients for yourself. Not true. When you white label, you can’t tell anyone who or what you’ve worked on.

Also, there is a reason that bigger agency has come to you. You have a talent or specialty they don’t have… and the process for it is your secret sauce.  When you work with a bigger agency they will want you to follow their processes, not yours.

What you can do instead is tell them you will work side-by-side on a project. This way you can still follow your processes and keep your secret sauce. The client gets to know your work and you can leverage the work for big clients of your own in the future.

So, if you work with a bigger agency don’t white label. Make sure you position it in a way that the allows the client to know you exist which will give you the opportunity for growth.
